What is gold-filled?
The majority of my jewelry is gold-filled. This means that a solid layer of gold (typically constituting at least 5% of the item's total weight) is mechanically bonded to a base metal. Gold-filled jewelry can be worn daily and will last many years. I personally wear my gold-filled jewelry in the shower and to workout, but I recommend not wearing any jewelry in a chlorinated pool or hot tub. Wearers who are sensitive to certain metals can wear gold-filled jewelry without worries of an allergic reaction. Gold-filled jewelry is a great option for anyone looking for high quality without the high price point of solid gold.

What is gold plated?
A few of my chains and pendants are gold-plated. This means there is a thick layer of solid gold over a base metal. My items have 3 mils (76.2 micron) of 18k gold plating and they are nickel and lead free.

Do you offer repairs?
Yes! I offer repairs for free in most situations. Please email your order number and a photo of the damaged piece to I do not cover the cost of shipping the item back to me, but I will send it back to you without a shipping charge.

How should I clean my jewelry?
You can clean your gold-filled jewelry lightly with a cloth and soapy water. It is a good idea to do this every so often, especially if you workout and shower in your jewelry. To lightly clean your gold-plated jewelry, gently polish with a dry soft cloth.

How should I store my jewelry?
I recommend storing all jewelry in an airtight container or bag (such as a small ziplock).  It is not necessary, but if you want to maximize the life of your piece, this is a great step to take. It is best to store your jewelry in boxes, pouches, or ziplock bags and in a cool, dark place away from sunlight, heat, and moisture.

Do you do custom orders?
Yes! I love working with customers to create one of a kind pieces. Please email me at with ideas. Let's have fun with it!

How will my jewelry be packaged?
Every order is packaged in a small drawstring jewelry bag.
